SmokeFire Amazon orders

Yes, I was offered 10.00 from Amazon. I told them to keep it. and that I don't appreciate them selling things that they don't have. I also said I will not renew my Amazon Prime. I am pretty pissed. But this goes on Weber too. They have blown their launch for a lot of people. So I think I will just keep using my kettle and save a lot of money.

I’m guessing when you ordered it that it was a presale based on commitments from their supplier (Weber). Their supplier didn’t come through, either for some or all of the commitment (not unusual for a major product launch).
Lowe’s is saying they can have an EX4 into my local store by next Monday. We shall see.

Amazon says I’ll have it by 6:00 pm tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed. Saw that the website now says out of stock.

There’s a tracking number but I haven’t received a call from them.

Yeah, mine says it has shipped, but awaiting call from carrier (Pilot). Hopefully I have it by Wednesday so I can burn it in before Friday's dinner...

I too have been itching to get this. I will, however, be patient and have Lowes assemble and deliver. Getting Lazy in my old age...According to Weber, it will take 2 people a couple of hours

Yep. I just checked a few minutes ago. They do not EVEN list a SmokeFire. I let Amazon know the I will most likely NOT renew my Prime account and that they could keep their 10 buck gift card. I have been an Amazon Prime user since they started... 12 years and never have seen such nonsense.

I wonder if the demand for this grill even surprised Weber a bit. I bought my first Weber, a Genesis, a couple of years ago, but I am a fan. Not inexpensive, but very well built and dependable. You don't get such a good reputation by accident.

Mine changed to preparing for shipment this afternoon and my card is showing a pending charge. Still no confirmation on when it will ship.

Mine arrived from Lowes today and it took me 70 minutes alone with a bathroom break. It has been worth the wait and the quality exceeds my high expectations!
