I know June helped develop a lot of the software so I would assume they did a lot of the coding. I would sure love to get some confirmation and information on this myself! We can hope. Anyone know who s doing the coding? Weber internal or have they outsourced it. Just curious.
I have not at all. My first experience with June is with our Smokfire's. If they had ANYTHING to do with the APP or the algorithms that tie the cooker the software I am totally not impressed. I wanted to buy a June Oven before I bought my Smoke Fire but I do not want to anymore at this time based on the smokefire software and App.Anyone had experience with the June oven?
Mine did the same. The probe lights flashed on and off in order from left to right and progressively got faster. At first I was worried that my controller bit the dust but just waited and it eventually booted up.Yesterday when I started my WSF I noticed the controller display showing a series of blinking lights near the bottom and took a little longer to start up. I saw on other websites that this was a firmware update. The sound from the fan was noticibly different and it seems to work a bit better. I thought it was the new Lumberjack pellets that I tried, but now I am not sure. The firmware is only visible when you are running the grill. I will check mine later today but others are saying it is 1.2_1394. Mine had been 1.1_1372. This is different from the IOS software version (which is 0.94 (226))..

Went out and turned mine on and sure enough lights started flashing and I have the same 1394. I noticed the desplay now has temperature as well as home on the display. When you push the button the appear to be the same thing set the temp.just checked and it is indeed 1.2_1394. The firmware is 04003 (found in the menu on the smokefire itself under "about")
