Weekday cooks

I’m thinking there must be some serious rewards for winning this Tuzi thing…if you don’t win I’ll be upset.

When do you find out who won…three grand prizes….? I don’t have twitter or Facebook, so I’m not really following..

It's on Instagram every day there were prizes. This year was not my year lol. Got it almost completely times. Last one I did before I won 3 times😁

Made a 9.3 lb Turkey last night. Brined for about 18 hours and cooked at 375 for exactly two hours. Both the dark meat and white meat were very moist. Another SF winner!

Made two whole 2 1/2 lb picanhas this week, perfectly medium rare (slow cooked at 250 to 115, then quick seared at 600)… the family raved about the flavor. If you have not tried this cut of meat you definitely should!!

Homemade smoked sloppy joes for quick lunches over the holidays. 2lbs lean ground beef, 6 bell peppers, 10 large jalapenos, 5 med red onions pickled in balsamic vinegar, and some off the shelf Arrabiata sauce. Ingredients were par cooked separately then finished together for an hour on a slow simmer. Great on a bun but just fine in a bowl too.

Smoke of the month worthy right there.
