🔥 What's cooking on your SmokeFire/Searwood? 🥩

Cooked some beef ribs yesterday mainly following the instructions in this video.

They turned out great. One took 7 hours and the other 8 at 275.

I had one odd thing happen. At the end of the cook, I turned up the pit to 600 to burn it off. After it came up to temp, the controller input became slow. I would press a button or turn the knob and it would take many (maybe 10) seconds for the controller to respond. With patience I was able to select shutdown and the shutdown went correctly.

Did my first bone in pork shoulder on the Smokefire Friday night into Saturday. 225 for about 10 hours then up to 275 to finish off remaining 8. I did not wrap it. Was 9.68lbs before cook. Turned out awesome.

Gonna do a whole picanha roast today with smoked potatoes and veggies. Will make a bacon salt first for the rub I'll post some pics tonight.

I have always cut piranha into steaks. Looking forward to seeing your roast.

Having a SmokeFire breakfast. Took left over Tri-tip, sliced it up and kissed it on a frying pan with some eggs.
