Another quick update for ya'll:
I turned my SmokeFire on and set it at 600 yesterday. It quickly came up to temp, I cleaned the grill, and then shut it down.
Today I turned it on and set it at 400. It started to smoke so I shut the lid and waited for it to come up to temp. It never got past 80 degrees. I pulled it apart and noticed that it was still feeding pellets, but the glow rod must have shut off. Seems like a software fix is in need for this.
After a 15 minute shut down, I now have a full burn pot of pellets. I restarted the grill at 400 and now it's blazing pretty good.
I'm also constantly out there stirring the pellets to fill in the cavity that develops within the hopper so I don't prolong the cook.
