Time to order some new parts

Either I’m not using mine enough, or the dry climate here in Phoenix has something to do with it…maybe I’m wrong, but I take mine apart and vacuum it out every 2-3 cooks. I haven’t noticed any degrading with anything yet. I bought mine 2/2020. Upgraded to gen two parts 6mi this ago? If I remember right…I also always use drip pans or wired cooking sheets..unless high heat for like steaks.
I live in one of the best climates in the country. Not humidity.

I just got a both flavorizer brackets, burn pot grate, and heat diffuser replaced due to rusting out. Had it since release Feb 2020 and always covered. They shipped them day I emailed photos.

Mine are on back order.

Long time ago when living in MD, the flavorizer bars and grates in my gasser rusted out prematurely. I called Weber and the CS person at that time suggested not covering the grill. She said they were designed to withstand most environments and that the cover actually holds in moisture and may have caused the corrosion. Since then I have never covered my gasser. Not sure due to the electronics on the SmokeFire how appropriate it is to not cover it and Weber really pushes their cover for it. Living in SC now, humidity is a factor as well as some pretty good rains.

They’ve said the same to me about my grills. I run a vacation rental company on the beach in Florida. Salt water and humidity = grill killer. Only keep buying Weber because of the warranty.
