Setting the temperature on my Seareood

WHY does my Searwood app message set temperature first to 600 before setting temperature ???

I've never encountered that. So, you start the searwood by pressing the menu button, then go to app and then grill, and it is setting it to 600? Mine doesn't do anything until I tell it to.

I can override the 600 degree requirement by setting it manually on the deadwood
But the app states need to ste at 600

Does the control panel (on the grill) show a temp set for 600? Have you tried deleting, then re-installing app and updating the software?
