Set temp disappearing.

An update for anyone else with this issue. This has according to Weber been fixed in a previous update. My unit has all the updates so I now have a new controller on the way. Not too sure this is the fix but it cant hurt. This will be my 3rd controller.

Dang that sucks. I haven’t experienced this since the update that was supposed to fix it.

This issue started happening for me today with my EX4. Turned it on this morning, and it went through three software updates, finally updating to SW: 1.6_5206, FW: 04077.

Now it keeps forgetting its set temperature. Has done this three times so far today while cooking a pork butt.

Opened a ticket. Waiting for a response.

Make that four times. Just noticed it’s done it again.

Crap! I have a BBQ planned for tomorrow and haven't turned on my EX6 since Beginning of February. I will turn it on this afternoon and let it update. I hope it doesn't crash!

Yeah seems like the reintroduced this bug. Mine doing it too, grill stays at temp but loses setpoint and timers. Pretty annoying.

I was a little bit worried about updating since I was going to be surrounded by ten hungry guests in 6 hours. Ran the update, prayed to the BBQ god, and then commenced cooking the most delicious ribs I have made to date. I had no issues! My EX6 is a 2nd gen.
