Searwood vs XL Temp Swings

I've been noticing a lot on here and on a Facebook group that when people say they don't see temperature swings (or at least bad ones > 50F) typically they're running an XL. I'd be curious to see who uses which and notices what. My theory is that the firepot/controller are the exact same between the two, and possibly tuned for the XL, which is why it would overreact a bit for the smaller unit. Hoping to gather some good data. Please include pellet brand as well, thanks!

Apologies if this has already been covered in another post, if it has, I didn't find it.
