Is anyone a little less than impressed with the searing capability of the Searwood? I was using a rectec bullseye previously, and felt like i could get a much better sear with it. 600 degrees should be plenty, but i can't seem to get the grillgrates or griddle hot enough to do the job quickly. I have verified accurate temps, but it does seem like the heat deflector is deflecting too much direct heat. I am considering getting another heat deflector and modifying it with some more holes or something to use for searing.
