What did you think?

My neighbor did some on his Traeger this past weekend and brought some over. While not horrible, I would not cook them after trying them. It’s a “meh” for me. Just didn’t do it for me and there are soooo many things that I like better. Cool idea though and I bet many folks love them.

Haven’t tried them yet. I read not to sprinkle the with salty onion garlic rub so I used Kosmos honey chipotle rub...

My buddy used a meat church rub. If I were to cook them, which I probably never will, I would go as sweet as possible on the rub to candy the bacon as much as possible. Bacon was just too savory for my liking. Maybe just brown sugar. What do I know?🤪

You are correct! The first one was definitely a meh! Second one was pretty good.

Final opinion, while not bad, they are not spectacular. I would NOT use that Kosmos seasoning again. After reading the actuall ingredients it does have garlic. The ones that didn’t have much seasoning are pretty good, the ones with more just tasted funky. I recommend no seasoning or possibly lightly some brown sugar. Maybe a drop of sweet sauce, or jelly.

We put the leftovers in the fridge. I had a couple today, they taste way better after sitting in the fridge overnight. Not sure why.
