Help? E3 flame out

Said it's shutting down for safety will take 15 minutes and it's been running along just fine and the screen it's basically frozen. If it safe to unplug it? I can't seem to get it to do anything else.

It finally shut itself down after at least forty five minutes that I was aware of, and likely longer because I used the app to shut it down an hour before I even went out to hit the switch. All the manual says is not to shut it down, no other help there.

That is a new issue that appeared with the last update. Just let it go. And, yes, the SF does not like it when you flip the switch. Makes the controller lose its PID mind.

Actually, things worked out okay, I was smoking chicken legs and since the smokeboost didn't shut down, they had a nice flavor after finishing in cast iron in oven. I need to get this thing working consistently though
