First time cooking a PAIR of butts totalling 16 lbs.
Seasoned with Meat Church Honey Bacon BBQ rub with a small addition of coarse ground black pepper.
5.5 hours at 275, pulled at 170 and placed in pan with some butter and brown sugar, covered with foil.
5 additional hours at 275 when they reached 204 and 206.
Dusted with more rub after pulling.
Literally fell apart in my hands and was the most tender pulled pork I've made.

@avrick - Nice! Meat Church Honey Bacon BBQ rub sounds good, I'm going to order some now to try on my next pork butt.

I have to agree. I've used The Gospel AP on a couple of butts & it's great, but I need to try the Honey Bacon!!

Last weekend I did a 7# rotisserie chicken & used Holy Voodoo. Wow, was that amazing!

Did some amazing no wrap ribs from a simple and excellent guide. Better than a lot of 3:2:1 sweet stews. Used Meat Church Honey Hog Rub, Bear Mountain apple pellets and super smoked for 1 hour before.
