🔥 What's cooking on your SmokeFire/Searwood? 🥩

Interesting as I cannot control my SF beyond Bluetooth connection do you think it’s reserved IP address how would DMZ solve the issue?
Probably the IP reservation. I applied DMZ as well just experimenting. I may turn that off and see if it affects the remote operation at all. Also to note - I have a separately named my 2.4 network, as if my router will automatically try to “push” to 5 if it has matching SSIDs.

Thanks I will try to reserve my ip and see if it helps my grill connects ok on 2.4 and stays connected just cannot control it or get temp updates.

Just made some steak fajitas. Thin cut sirloin steak, sweet and hot peppers,. Simple and delicious.

Did some legs today. Went for wings but no wings in the store, none. I have had nothing but great results since the last round of updates and after removing the three wire pellet safety device. Flawless. I used the super smoke setting first then ramped up to 275 and down again to 250 for saucing. Flawless.

Did a couple of huge cowboys a few weeks ago. The searing was first rate. I brought them up to 115-120 and then removed and cranked it to 600. Perfect!

Cooked some tilapia fillets and bunch of cut up veggies in cast iron skillet.

As far as I am concerned, with shelter in place, any day is a good "week end" BBQ day. It looks great!

Man alive, what did you put on that bird? It looks great!
Thanks! I rubbed it with olive oil then used Plowboys Yardbird rub. Then added some Jack Stack original sauce in the last minutes or so. Was tasty and still nice and juicy. Love my SmokeFire when it turns out food like that. Have a little leftover breast meat that going to use for tacos tonight.

I’m gonna have to duplicate that. I love yardbird and haven’t tried the jack stack sauce yet. Thanks!
