What to do with the Gas Grill?

I have a Weber Genesis gas grill that I'm keeping, but plan on selling my Vision Grills kamado. (that was the agreement that I made with my wife) While the kamado works well, I don't see me using it enough to justify keeping it.

I heard that the Genesis grills work in the Smokefire, is that right? So some versatility there... My stepson has a Kamado. He loves it, but I just think to myself... Hey I have my Weber Kettle!

I'm not sure about the Genesis grates fitting the SmokeFire. I've already paid for my SmokeFire EX6, it's just not here yet. I'm expecting that it will arrive at the dealer sometime in the next week. Yeah, the Weber Summit Kettle looked like a really great unit to me, but at the time I didn't want to spend that much money. I really wanted a pellet grill anyway...and now I have one! (almost)

I have a Delta Heat 38", a Klose 42" offset and the Smokefire 36 on order. Depending on how the Smokefire performs I will likely either part with it or the Klose pit. I really like the Klose pit, but with two young kids am now past the point where tending an offset is a great thing. The gas grill, on the other hand, still has a number of advantages - plus there is a custom cut out in the outdoor counter that would be tough to fill ....

Grateful for good return policies!

I have a Weber summit 470 plan on using both, so excited to get the SmokeFire and start playing with it though!!!

I have a Weber Q3200 that a buddy of mine is buying from me as soon as I pick up my SmokeFire EX4. I am just waiting for someplace local to get them in stock so I can do a hands-on with it first.

I have a weber gas grill that I bought in 2002. I will keep it for now never know when I will need it. Nothing wrong with it. I still think it is a great grill. It is the best one I had so far.

I have a Weber Performer kettle which I will never give up and a big Summit. If nothing else it makes a great warning oven for parties. Just light one or two of the outside burners and set it to low. About 160 inside. It also has a side burner for my cast iron skillet.

I still have my cheap gas grill, and I will keep it still as sometimes my wife likes to use it and likes how easy it is to start and also probably for quick stuff like hot dogs
