Safeway has loin back ribs for 1.97 a lbs. bought 3 racks. Trimmed 2 today. Was going to use kettle but decided for the SF. Mustard rubbed, meat church Honey Hog, and Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub. 3 hours at 300. Removed and added butter and Capital City Mambo Sauce. Double wrapped in foil. Replace meat side down. Threw on a dash of Meat Church Holy Voodoo. We shall see in an hour or so what happens. Will add more pics when finished.

Dang. My local Safeway claimed they were running 2.99 /lb for St Louis but only for house brand and the only ones they had in stock weren't those. Bait and switch for the 3.49 / lb.. but I still picked up a couple.

Must be a trash Safeway. Mine had the same thing happen, but they honored the sale price. Been awhile so maybe they wouldn’t now…sounds like something frys would do. Sometimes if you talk to the butcher he will change the price for you.

Well I think they seemed a little dry. Flavor was ok. I still haven’t got my taste back all the way from covid. I probably should have sprayed them.

Looks good. I love cooking ribs. BB’s have less fat than Stl/ spares. The leaner meat is a bit more susceptible to drying. Yours look great. I’d make a 🐷 of myself.

They look great, 😋

I’m doing few racks on Father’s Day. They were $16-$18 per rack. Ouch! Oh well, you can’t put a price on keeping your father happy. 😁
