Weber quality control

I called this afternoon at 3:09 EST and left my call back number. I received a return call at 3:16 and spoke with a very nice woman named Diane, she told me all he CSR's are still working from home. I told her that my grill was working but I wanted a spare glow plug just in case, she placed the order while we were on the phone and sent it out at no charge, should see it in 7-10 business days.
I run a small business on Long Island, NY, about 30 employees, and I know first hand how hard it is to operate when folks are working from home, suppliers are closed, etc. I hope my customer service comes across as well as Weber's just did.

Hmm I told them the same thing and they charged me for them.

My glowplug just went out (ex6, eu model). I have had around 20 cooks. Weber support said that there is 2 weeks delay to send new plugs as they have run out of these parts.

Ask them to send 2 replacements so that next time it happens you have a backup. They did this for free for me as well as others (at least in North America).

That’s fucked!!
I’d mail you one if you weren’t in Finland.

Is it because of the supply chain between the US, or point of manufacture, and Finland? I am a bit surprised considering they are on the U S Weber website, and I recently ordered a spare set...but then again, supply chain issues do happen.

You can always manually start your unit by either using a “fire cube” typically used to start charcoal, or a propane/butane porch to ignite the pellets in the firebox and let the unit take over from there.

That completely sucks. Hopefully they get you replacement quicker. Like Noted above you can light it manually just not ideal or convenient.
