2 probe in the same filet. 1 reads 90 deg, the other 122. My quick read handheld reads 98. WTF weber.

Both new probes? I had a probe from my old iGrill that recently went bad. It was fine then started being consistently 25 degrees low. I’d contact Weber if they are new since should be covered by warranty. Mine was too old.
I’ve always been careful to keep the cables out of water when washing too.

make sure they're both weber probes, or at least probes that work with the WSF. I have different probes from different manufs. Some work with each other, some don't...and mine reacts the same way, if I put probes intended for my inkbird into the weber, the reading will be 30ish degrees off one way or the other.

I stopped using them for that reason. I recommend probes from Thermopen. I agree WTF Weber---twelve hundred bucks for the thing and have to rely on outside probes for more $$.
Did you do the SW/FW updates?

Do Thermoworks probes work with SmokeFire? I love my Thermapen and IRK-2.

I had a version of iGrill and the probes were TERRIBLE! I use an Oprol, available on Amazon. 6 probes and Bluetooth. They work great. I melted a part (MY fault) and they replaced it for free. I have not tried the probe that came with my SF for that very reason.

I don’t particularly like curved probes. Replaced them with some straight ones from ThermoWorks. They have several different versions.
