Hi everyone long time lurker on this forum so finally decided to register as there aren’t many videos on YouTube for cooking with the smokefire.

Wanted to know if anyone has smoked peppers completely dry on the smokefire. I have a bunch from the garden. Thanks.

Haven’t done them on the smokefire yet but they have turned out great any other grill i have done them on . If you’ve done them before just do it the same way . I like some smoke on them first then crank the heat up to get a char on the outside
 
Not personally, but I bet the internet is full of videos. Lots of people do it.
 
Unfortunately, I don't have photos (I always forget to get the phone out and take pictures), but I cranked the temperature up and blackened a load of bell peppers the other day. Once charred, added them to a ziplock bag for 20 minutes to steam, removed the charred skin, chopped up, and added to some homemade houmous. Was excellent.
