Received my EX6 today
Assembly was super easy
Software update was flawless.
But what really impressed me is the fact that I live in Boston and today was 23 F …. Set the temp to 600 for the inicial burn in…. 10 minutes later… boom … 600 F
Cooked some chicken thighs at 450… again performed like a champ . Rock solid temperature control.
Pellets also fed normally… no voids or holes.

Was a bit worried with a few negative comments regarding temperatures, fires and pellets feed… but so far so good.

Also bought new 5” red casters and wet smoke/drip kit.
I do have to say, not a big fan of the front table I got from Weber … but I’ll get used to it
I’ll post photos of the finish product
 
You’ve made a wise decision. Some common sense with your cooking practices will carry you through. You’ve got a high powered cooking apparatus at your fingertips. Enjoy the ride!
 
The front shelf is almost useless with the handle being in the way. Several owners have fabricated their own front shelves with different hardware. Like this:
