Just registered and first post but have been following the forum for a while. Just ordered a Gen2 EX6 here in the US direct from Weber....been looking at this thing from day one and was really sad to see all the issues people were having with them but I've been following its progress and it seems like they have got things resolved for the most part. Hoping this Gen2 is good to go out of the box. Couldn't pass up the deal Weber has on them right now....$200 off and free shipping adds up to a 20% savings.

Finally! AU Smokefires preorders are being delivered. Some lucky ones have already received theirs, due work I’ve had to schedule delivery for next Wednesday. What’s a few more days after months of waiting eh

Am super excited although a little concerned that some issues still remain in the GEN 2 - although seems for Some it is more software related. We shall see.

now what to do for my first cook...... Ive got a backlog of stuff Ive been waiting to cook on the new girl
