Replacement smoke fire delivered!

OK my replacement smoke fire showed up. It was actually packed really well and fully assembled in a crate that said property of Weber. There were some loose screws and bolts because of transportation most likely but it looks to have been tested and used. I did have to update the software. One cool note is that the sticker on the front was a static sticker this time instead of a pain in the butt sticker to remove!

I put my upgraded grate in. The Gbs grate does not seem to be compatible with the grate clips?
It’s a little warped but we will see how that goes definitely excited to get this going and cook something tonight. Too bad I froze all my ribs. We are getting the storm tomorrow so I may not be able to really put it to work till this weekend

one grate does not sit level at all 4 corners. it rattles a little bit so i may need to bend it. that box was very beaten up so maybe that is the case. At least i have backups

I had a good cook on it tonight. Just made some chicken breasts and potatoes. I screwed up and forgot to take out the finger guard and the pellets bridged. Oh well I pushed them in and it did come back up to temp thankfully

Do you mean the front shelf? Would you want to sell it?

absolutely- i have a wood table I built specific for BBQ so this was an impulse purchase. i would even trade for pellets etc

I really should have bought the side shelf instead

I felt it is kind of small and the few times I used it I would rather have more room. Here is a pic of my grilling space- I built this table for my genesis. i’m thinking of putting the table perpendicular and have a grill on each side. I built this 16 x 16 deck specifically for cooking and I have another space for hanging out dining and entertaining on the other side of the deck
