Bought a Starwood pellet grill to replace my Traeger ( 15 years)
So disappointed
Searwood very erratic, does not hold steady temperature 80 plus degrees off
Last night shut the grill down in the middle of grilling and restarted…. That worked
Steady 400 degree temp
But
What an ordeal

This issue has been constant
I have called many many times
Yes, I only use Weber pellets
Had a very failed cook for ribs a couple months ago
Finally used Wolfe range oven
This grill is defective
Question: cooked whole chicken and recipie called for placing chicken over foil pan
How is that possible as there is not enough space between the grate and heat diffuser

You put the chicken on the upper rack and the foil pan on the bottom rack

The whole chicken was too big to fit on the upper rack

Spatchcock the chicken so it cooks more evenly and will fit in the upper grate
