New top grate!

Picked up a new top grate for my EX6. Need to season it before the big 4 day weekend!

After watching the supplied top grate bend under the loads I put on it, I'm curious to hear how well this one works. Looks like it won't bend easily, but also won't slide back and forth at all.

After watching the supplied top grate bend under the loads I put on it, I'm curious to hear how well this one works. Looks like it won't bend easily, but also won't slide back and forth at all.

He has an 11” and a 14” I went with the 14”, it’s pretty simple now, when I smoke it will be on the top shelf, when I grill it will be on the bottom grate.
I didn’t feel like the food was getting good smoke with a pan under the bottom grate.
We’ll see. Brisket is going on Friday night!

It’s a stainless grate for a kettle, I just can’t bring myself to try it out!

As you just want to test your grate, just call me 30 minutes before finishing the cook I volunteer to come to consume the brisket
