New 5” casters

Great stuff… thank you for sharing.
I’m not sure I’ll get the side table because I Im afraid once I add it I’ll loose the ability to move the SF around. I’m not sure that the handle on the shelf will be as sturdy as without it.
Hey RickySilva,
I like the side shelf and the handle becomes weak. I had an idea of adding pins to hold it but the thinness of the SS the pins did not work (posted video) last year. After the snow this spring I may try another idea to “beef up” SS where it attaches.

Hello everyone,
I’m struggling to find these in europe, I was wondering if someone would be ok to send them to me , I would of course pay everything before including a bottle of wine for the service :)
Thanks
Stephane

Question…do you just unscrew the old o es and then screw in the new? I see a bolt for the new ones….

They are no different to the stock ones.
Not sure what this bolt is that you are referring to?

The bolt is just there to adjust for level if you wanted. It will allow you to adjust the stopping point of the wheel threads at a varied level. You can just remove them if that is not a concern.

Those nuts that you circled would be used to attach the casters to something that was not threaded or could possibly be used to adjust the height as previously mentioned when using for some other application.
They would not be used on the SF (unless you really wanted to for some reason) as they will go right on just as easy as the stock ones.

I used nuts on the left hand side of my SmokeFire to level it out perfectly. Never knew my BBQ area had that much grade until I put a level on it. Worked great.
I wouldn’t usually give it a second thought with my kettles but with central drain on the SF I wanted it perfect.
