Hi fellow SmokeFire enthousiasts ,
Tonight (17th of April) I’m going for a big cook. I have decided to make pulled pork. And with big I mean that the Boston Butt that I have picked weighs 5kg (10 pounds). So hopefully I will be able to provide friends and family some nice pulled pork buns tomorrow. A nice surprise in this Covid-19 lockdown time. The weather is fine 🌤 and I have prepared my ex6 for the long haul.
The Boston Butt is prepared with a dry rub. I will set my ex6 to 120 degrees Celsius (250 Fahrenheit) and my guesstimate is that it will take 15 hours to reach the desired 92 degrees Celsius (198 Fahrenheit.)
Some pictures of my preparation for this cook:
I will post regular updates so you can join my journey towards hopefully a successful/delicious cook.
