goatrljr new to forum; new to pellet grill

How old is it ?? Are you the original owner?

Welcome! What kind of problems are you having?
temperature climbing towards set point, sometimes reaching set point then randomly drops. No errors other than temperature drop warning to shut lid and check pellets. I’ve stirred pellets -no change. Also dumped bin to verify auger is rotating. I’ve read other have had issues with pellets bridging, after mtriple stirs and babysitting the pellet bin- I don’t feel that this is the case on my issue.

original owner, 6 months old.
Then you missed the 100 day return period. Reach out to Customer Care, see what they think. They'll send you any parts you need

I always recommend removing the wire finger guard. If you do remove one screw at a time since they hold the hopper chute. Also can put a rag in the chute in case drop a screw it doesn’t fall in the auger. Just don’t stick your hand in the auger when grill is running :)
I’d also contact Weber as if you do have bad component they’ll send you replacements.

I have seen this exact problem on my SmokeFire EX6 Gen2. It turned out to be the auger. It was slipping while turning, because the pin had created a worn out area on the actual auger. I took pictures of the auger and screenshots off the app (looks like yours). With the auger slipping some pellets were making it, sometimes they were not. The auger finally stopped turning because the pin completely broke. Weber sent in a new Auger. Pretty easy to replace. I also now during a thorough clean of the grill will take out the auger and clean out any stuck pellet residue due to some pellets with absorb moisture if left in the hopper too long and get stuck in between the grooves of the auger.

Thanks to everyone that has replied, I’ll remove the wire finger guard and check the auger & pin. I’ve also read about a potential ground issue with the glow plug?
