First cook searwood

I owned a smokefire. Had it 3 years. It was a tough 3 years with replacement parts, dropped temps, restarts etc but the flavor was incredible on everything I cooked. From burgers to brisket to steaks. The 600 degrees is what made me go back. I am not reverse searing like an idiot. Soooo I got it today. Put it together. Burned off the inside and made ribs. Not 1 issue. Set temp gtg. Ribs were fantastic as expected. The pellet box was great. A lot easier and no mess. Just did the shutdown and no issue. At this point, if it continues to perform as it did today…I’m incredibly happy. Saturday 20oz strips. 😊

Glad to hear the first cook was a success! (y) I'm tempted to pull the trigger on one of these grills soon.

Nice! What method do you use to cook 'em? (time/temp/prep?)
350 for about 10 minutes then turn cook another 10. Then I turned it up to 375 for about 10 to help crisp. Turned our great and I was expirementung. Toss in olive oil and then coat in old bay

I'll have to give that a shot! I've never been really happy with the wings coming off the smoker. They are OK, but not amazing.
