Did a 5 pound three bone rack of plate ribs last night that came out amazing. 3 1/2 hours at 250 and then wrapped them in paper at 275 for another 90 minutes, then let them rest for almost an hour in the cooler.

These were probably the first or second best thing I have cooked on the SF… bbq restaurant quality stuff.

First pic is the wrap stage, second pic is the bone pull back just before cutting. Third pic shows the cut. :D

In my honostly opinion, anything cooked at home with even half skill, is better than a restaurant. Especially bbq. Those ribs look mouth watering. Great job.

I love doing these ribs. Hard (but not impossible) to goof up. They are starting to get pricey though (what isn't?); Couple of years back - $14-$16 for 3-4 ribs - now it's over $30 and that's at Wally World. Seems they are gaining in popularity. Just like brisket - used to practically give it away. Now, not so much.

Easily in my top three favorite cooks. Enjoy!
