Anyone solve the Pellet Void issue

It is an excellent pellet smoker. I have had no issues with customer service they have been extremely responsive.
Like others have said this is BBQ it is not an exact science there will be some issues when playing with fire but nothing that can't be overcome. That what makes cooking with the Smokefire so fun.

You will be waiting a while. They aren't doing a new version any time soon.
Anything they do will be tweaking parts like they did with the so called "Gen2"
I think they are pretty much there. Not denying there are issues but people just wanted it to be something it's not and that has them pissed.
Wow, Look at Lowes Web Smoke Fire 6. Looks like they have made the same decision I have.

yeah, they bailed quite a while ago. Bad roll out by Weber of what is ultimately a tremendous product and value. Just too bad for them they didn’t wait until these bugs were ironed out. Problem of their own making though. The Smokefire runs circles around cookers double their cost. It’s actually a great grill and a great smoker. Great!
Good luck on your journey.

Lowe's here by me is still selling the Smokefire. I agree with JPSBBQ this is a great smoker. Like any new products there will be some issues but Weber has stood beside their product.

I'm thinking about installing a wifi camera in the hopper so I can check on pellet feeding conditions remotely during long cooks. A step further would be to rig up a stirring motor or vibrator that can be activated as needed via wifi outlet, though that is really pushing the lazy factor.

I solved it! I take this 🖐🏻 And push em around every 4-6 hours. Cause I need something to do when the SmokeFire is humming along.
Amen to the ✋. [censored by myself]* apologies extended

I've had my pellet shaker (don't call it vibrator here) on my EX6 since last summer. Works perfect. I have it on a timer set for every 30 minutes and is activated for 30 seconds. Do what you want to the cooker. It's yours.

When I go out to check things, wrap meat so forth and etc. I just simply lift the back lid and make sure over the auger is full. Simple stirring with my hand. I’ve only ran out one time…in the beginning, if a cook, because I was already low….I also keep the pellet area full at all times. Pellets in it now have been in there for. Over two months. And just did a 5+ hour cook with them Friday.

Performed my initial break-in run a few hours ago, and just finished my first cook smoking shrimp @200f. Mostly went pretty smoothly, I shuffled the pellets a few times toward the beginning but then I did get a low fuel alert, there were plenty of pellets in the hopper and the sensor was not at all visible so I guess that's what bridging looks like. I'm using Weber Grillmaster pellets so I guess this is just something to look out for, glad that the app alerted me with plenty of time before it actually ran out of fuel so I could attend to it, and from what I've read its far from unique to Weber Smokefire...

As for the flavor, whoa man these shrimp are really really tasty. We frequently drive down to Calumet Fisheries on 95th street at the bridge to enjoy smoked shrimp but for my first try I'd say these are a pretty damned good substitute.

I see wisely used a drip pan. Excellent. I haven’t paid attention so maybe you already addressed it, but have you removed the wiregaurd over the pellet chute/auger? I never have a bridging problem…wire guard removed and pellets to the top of pellet hopper at all times.
