I am already in contact with Weber customer service and following through with the instructed steps and just waiting for their response at the moment.His post said he was using Weber pellets.
If you are having this issue and aren't using Weber, Lumberjack or Cabela's pellets, swapping to one of those is the first thing you should be doing after checking for burn pot damage.
I will be picking up a new bag of Lumberjack this weekend and testing out what I can on my end. I shall see if Weber believes that it's the pellet or if they found something from the photos I sent.
