Hi,
Is it better to buy from Weber And assemble myself or get it from Lowe’s and let them assemble it?

Do it yourself. Not sure what one could get from Lowe's.

I agree with rest, assemble yourself. Also makes it easier to fix things later as you have better understanding of how the grill goes together. It’s not too bad if take time and follow the directions. You don need a second person to help stand it up when done.

I was one of the pre-order folks direct with Weber. Assembly is really easy, if you can put together IKEA furniture then you definitely can handle it 😉. The Weber manual makes it a breeze with their detailed illustrations, everything is labeled. I would recommend someone to help you stand it up (manual recommends this as well). I was able to do that myself but it was not easy, you can damage or scratch it standing it up by yourself if you’re not used to moving large objects solo (my wife has bad wrists and we can only seem to make girls, so Ive gotten really good by necessity 😂).

I forgot the Weber Grills app also has interactive 3D instructions for assembly that use BILT app functionality. I didn’t use it when I assembled mine though so can’t say if it’s better than the included instructions.

Absolutely perfect answer. Your going to eventually need to work on the Smokefire for maintenance. As you assemble it you will learn almost everything you would need about replacing parts that will need to be replaced or serviced.

The kid at Lowe’s isn’t going to give a crap about putting it together, grab a beer or 3 and take your time.
It took me an hour and 15 minutes and I took my time to make sure everything went together well.
Enjoy!!
