I normally am pretty technical. However, I can't seem to find a way to "Program a cook". I want to cook overnight and set up smoke boost to run for two hours then jump to higher temperature. This is pretty basic in my eyes. But I cannot find a way to do this in the app. Has anyone figured this out or is weber really this poor with their programming of the connect app. I saw the timer button and it is literally just that, a timer. If your running the app on your phone you can use the timer on the phone if that's all you want. I hoped the timer function would run for a settable time then allow auto changes to the next temp and so on.

Hi. No such program exists currently. Would be great if they can add this feature. You can always change it from Smoke boost to different temp from your phone app

This.

When I did my Brisket, it went on for 2.5 hours at 180 for Smoke Boost. I put a timer on my app and went to go watch wrestling or TV or something. When the app went PING for the timer, I pulled my phone out, went to the app, then turned the temp up to 250 right there at my desk. Put my phone back in my pocket and went back to watchin TV or whatever it is I was doing.

I went to sleep and eventually had to wake up around 4AM for biology reasons. I figured hey, I'll check my app real quick. "In 15 minutes, go wrap your brisket." Oh, ok. Since I'm already awake... start putting on shoes and pants... went outside, wrapped it and put it back on. Went back to bed. Woke up in the morning and it wasn't ready to take off until noon.

I still can't get the grill to connect to my android phone with the app.. works fine on my Ipad and wife's Iphone.. so that is what I am stuck dealing with. Aggravating.

Without having your phone and being physically present, I cannot diagnose your Android issue. But I do know the process for the iPhone was to connect to the device via Bluetooth, use the app to instruct the grill to connect to your wifi, then register the grill on the Weber website. Your app will then connect via the internet to the server to talk to your grill so long as the grill is within range of your wifi.
