Been a long time Traeger grill owner. Looking to consolidate my grill and older Traeger smoker, purchased a Weber Searwood XL 600 since it can reach temperatures up to 600 degrees. Used it twice so far. Once to put grill marks on a sous vide tri tip and cook burgers. Here’s my question. Yesterday, I followed a recipe in the Weber Connect app for burgers. Pretty straightforward but I have to set the grill temperature (550) manually with the dial or manually via the app. You would think the recipe section of the app would set the required temperature for you. It has no issues setting the timer for cooking each side of the burger (when to flip). Is there something I’m missing here?
