So just wanted to FYI everyone I got two thermoworks and they work with the SF just fine.
Someone in an earlier thread said the jack was loose when he/she used the Thermoworks but I noticed on mine they are fine in jacks 1&2 which I've only used so far. However, I plugged one of the Weber probes into #3 to test it against the Thermoworks, and the jack was loose with the Weber probe. This leads me to believe the female jacks, themselves, are junky. After designing and building guitar valve amps for a while I've been educated to the finer points of quality audio jacks. There is a difference in quality and these are probably the cheapest option Weber could find.
Jiggling the jack gets it to work fine though.
