The plus (+) button on the controller

All I get when I press this button (2nd one down from the top) is the QR code to download the app. I’ve already got the app. Is that all the button does for now or have I missed a step? I have a Bluetooth connection but have not been able to get the WiFi connected. Waiting on Weber support to call back for advice.

That's all my + button does and I am connected to WiFi. I know it's been said before but mine would only connect to my 2.4GHZ channel and not my 5GHZ.

Yes, I’m only running 2.4,GHz, I disabled the 5Ghz at the router as a troubleshooting step, still won’t connect. I have plenty of signal
on my porch and pool deck, in fact I stream NCAA CFB out there all the time.

Have you tried resetting your controller?

I haven’t, but when I get back home tomorrow I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the advice!

Maybe the plus button is for the super smoke function that they have talked about??

hi, same issue here... the smoke fire is linked both by bt and wi.fi, software is updated, but the plus (+) button only shows the QR Code. All the recipe menù is missing, and furthermore, the food probe only can be used to receive alert. User manual states that clicking the dialing wheel con the probe icon, the cooking menù should appear... it does not.

any idea? thanks
