Temps While In Smokeboost

Just for grins I ran my Fireboard the other night when I was using Smokeboost on some sausages before I cooked them. Here's the graph below. I turned on the Fireboard @ 8:54 pm and the black dot @ around 10:03 pm is when I increased the SF temps. Not as much of temp swings as I thought there would be

I monitor my SF ex4 while in during all smokes and cooks with a separate ambient temperature probe connected to port #4, as well as with my Maverick. I continually see similar results. While the Smoke Boost mode will vary between 155 and 180, that is largely a function of our side air — the higher the outside air temp the higher the SB temperature, which I attribute to the need to maintain stable combustion — but for a given outside out temp, my unit typically maintains a temperature band of +or - 10 degrees.
