This might be old news for some of you but based on today's customer service call regarding the loss of power to the LCD screen of my SF EX4, Weber has discontinued making the SmokeFire line of grills (no longer available to purchase on the Weber website). Better get your spare parts now!!
On a repair note, not sure what happened to my screen but the first round of diagnostics by the tech led him to send me a new LCD screen Saturday, plug it in today....nothing.....second call to customer service resulted in a new motherboard on the way along along with three possible glow plug assemblies (yes, back to my original problem from 12/24)....I feel for these Customer service reps as it is clear Weber is changing product design so quickly to keep up the poor quality of their grills that their online information does not match up with the documentation that is going out to customers as spare parts....
Has anyone ever presented a case to Weber to get their money back based on such poor products??
