Smoke fire won’t light

I’m 99% sure it’s not fully seated in its socket. Very common issue.

I agree with the others. Glow plug not grounding out.

I'm having the same issue today. I just changed the glow plug and made sure that it was glowing before the pellets started to drop. I'm not sure but i think the auger is running slower than it should... is this possible? it is moving but seems very slow.

Only other issue is the auger can get packed with dust and or slightly damp pellets. I’ve had both over the last 3+ years. It’s fairly rare, but it happens. The dust from multiple pellet bags eventually gets down to the bottom of the chute. I usually just dump the pellets and vac out the top of the auger. Others will completely remove the auger. If it’s not lighting with a hot glow plug I’m very confident this is your issue.
