Original Kettle owner since 1977. I've used and retired many over 48 years and tried other options like kamado grills but the original still wins. Have high hopes for a Searwood 600 now. Some start up issues that Weber is fixing but looking forward to smoke, wok cook, flat top grill and rotisserie with much more ease and precision. Not sure I will really use the sear function over the charcoal kettle though - will report back.
