I recently took a chance on a set of sear grates for my Searwood 600 (not the XL). I really wasn't interested in the Weber Crafted system since I have no intentions of using any of the other accessories. The grates I found on Amazon arrived today and fit nicely other then about a 1/4" gap on each side when the grates are pushed flush together in the center. It did require two of the grates to cover the entire cooking area of the grill. The quality appears very good, they were packaged very well by the manufacturer. The grates are not enameled and have the cross-hatch design I have been looking for. I will post some additional feedback after I get them seasoned and do my first cook on them.. we are currently dealing with some sub-zero temps here and probably won't cook with them until the coming weekend.
