New to the forum/world of griddle cooking
I turned my slate griddle on high for ~30 minutes after setup, which I thought was the proper thing to do, and the cooking surface turned a blueish color above all three burners.
Is that normal? I couldn't find much searching google and I spoke with Weber customer service, but they were perplexed and passed my case onto some other department (still waiting for a phone call back ~36 hours later). I re-seasoned too, but it didn't hide the blue colored ovals.
Can't believe I don't have a picture to post, although customer service did video stream in and took a screen shot for support.
I hope I'm overreacting but would appreciate if anyone has some knowledge to pass on!
