Searwood XL 600, Genesis II E-410, griddle insert for the Genesis, 22" Kettle
My wife really likes rotisserie chicken in her salads, so she said I should buy this and make some for her on the Searwood XL.

Oh ok, twist my arm, ha ha.

Well, I finally said to hell with the rain & put a couple of chickens on the rotisserie, one seasoned & one unseasoned. Used a poultry rub and Bear Mountain Bourbon Barrel pellets. 325 deg. for ~2 hrs., IT 168.

Both were good, but the seasoned was out of this world.

Getting my 600 next Friday from ace . Went and bought a clean brush today, the cover, and forgot pellets lol. Lowes had on on display and I was excited to see it . Going to buy bear mountain hickory pellets and try them first

Can you tell me how you were able to check internal? Did you have to stop it, stick the probe in and restart?

For these, yes. I used a Thermopro thermometer.
Now, I just use my Meater + thermometer.
