I heard about this forum on a google search. I am a long time Weber owner. I have 2 Kettles and a Smokey Mountain Smoker. (cooked 2 delicious turkeys on the WSM this weekend). I have also owned a pellet grill for a few years.

I will be pre-ordering a SmokeFire tomorrow. I watched many of the videos and the steak searing and 600 degree temperature is very impressive. I wondering about seeing the flames though...when cooking chicken for example, and the drippings fall, is there risk for flame ups and burning the chicken? My experience on other pellet grills is that you can leave chicken wings etc. unattended without fear of a flame up because of the heat shield. I am just curious but it will not change my decision to own a Weber SmokeFire. Thanks for entering this market. Your products are the best!

I believe I was just searching for ANYTHING related to Weber Smokefire. After all the initial announcement articles/videos, there was zero information to be found, but that didn't stop me from looking every day, haha.
