Smokerfire
Hello. I'm new to using a smoker. I have the Weber Smokefire unit. I have done several smokes, brisket, ribs, chickens and today I am doing a turkey. The grill works great.

One question: Is there a calibration routine in the software for the probes? (The Trager units do)

I have not double checked each probe with Icewater Bath and Boiling water (YET) and I have two more probes coming in the mail tomorrow. With the two probes just sitting in the ambient air hanging in front of the grill they are off by a few degrees (not very scientific I know) Once I have the new ones I plan on checking all four as above. But if they are off, can I calibrate the unit??? I know it's not critical but what the hell, can't hurt to ask.

Thanks.

Mike

There is no calibration that I know of other than the mental calibration of "This probe runs a little cold."
