Wait wait wait wait!!!! What pans are those and how are they supported??
People will love to see this works.
Please send me exactly how you did this.
Is it sturdy? My only issue with the searwood is I like to cook on the top grate and keep a pan under but this should work well.

Looks like the Weber water pan kit.
I have used that the Smokefire and have to say it worked really well.

They are just aluminum pans that I put below the grates on top of the v shaped bar. They fit in there pretty well. I put some water in one to help with the moisture.

If you put them on the flavor metal thing how does the smoke get to the ribs?

The smoke circulates really well in there, and have gotten good smoke flavor on them. I also use smokeboost for the for 30mins. You don't have to use them but does help with clean up. I have done it both ways and didn't notice a differecne in flavor

Ribs in the first thing im
cooking. Can you tell me how you did them? Time and temp? I don’t use probes and it’s my first smoker. I’ve been using the spirit 3 burner Weber for years
